Here is a link to the letter I referred in the last post: Letter to Leraner_Exam

Few more ideas to share:
  1. We are including information on the practical exam center on the intimation card, even if it is the same study center of the student. This is for the benefit of those students who have to appear in a study center other than their own.
  2. We are writing to all the HR industries in our region about NIOS to let them know that their workers may upgrade their qualification through NIOS. Most of the industries and companies have a commitment and funds for this purpose under the staff development head.
  3. I have written a letter to students giving suggestions on "how to write their exams".

On teleconferencing:
  1. Why must everyone be allowed to make a presentation?
  2. Why must we look flat and uninterested in on the screen?
  3. Why must we not look into the camera/audience?
  4. Why must we not plan and rehearse?
  5. Teachers are not habitual of working for the whole day?

Suggestions on service rules:

I have sent two suggestions:
  1. At least 75% of HODs positions should be on promotion basis.
  2. NIOS should be listed in CAT.

I am placing this blog for colleagues to share their ideas, experience, and thoughts on how the practices in open schooling may be improved for its beneficiaries. To start the ball rolling, I am suggesting:
  1. We are writing "Important Examination Information" in Gujarati on top of the envelope we are using to send the intimation cards.
